Day-by-Day Itinerary

4-day Murchison Falls & Chimpanzee Safari

Day 1 – Rhino Tracking & Murchison Bound

Start the day with a pick-up in Kampala or Entebbe and head north towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Join a walking rhino tracking experience led by expert rangers. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park. Settle in at your lodge and relax as the sun sets over the savannah.
Overnight: Red Chilli Restcamp

Day 2 – Safari & Nile Boat Cruise

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls NP. Look out for elephants, giraffes, buffalo and lions as the plains come alive. After lunch, take a boat safari on the Nile to the base of the falls — expect hippos, crocodiles and beautiful birdlife. Optional: hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views.
Overnight: Red Chilli Restcamp

Day 3 – Final Game Drive & Masindi Overnight

Begin the day with another early game drive to explore different areas of the park. You may spot new wildlife or revisit your favourite sightings. Afterwards, exit the park and transfer to Masindi for a relaxing evening at the hotel.

Day 4 – Chimpanzees in Budongo Forest

Drive very early in the morning to Budongo Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Walk through the forest with a guide, listening for distant calls and rustling leaves. When you find them, you’ll observe the chimps up close in their natural habitat. After the trek, we will have breakfast and freshen up at our hotel and return to Kampala or Entebbe.
